Following the Boxing day tsunami of 2004 ground floor levels of the Main Wing of the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket required extensive refurbishment. Besides renovation of the main swimming pool garden the clients took this opportunity to develop a Kid’s zone with its own pool slide, toddler’s pool and Kid’s club. Courtyard gardens such as the Lobby Bar were also revamped.
