P.L. Design Company Ltd., founded in 1991, has earned a reputation for innovative design service in site planning and landscape architecture in the Asian region. Due to growing environmental concerns, we put special emphasis on creating natural character that will enhance as well as conserve the environment. Our extensive experience in a diverse range of projects has equipped P.L. design staff with a comprehensive and rational approach to undertake any given design.

We are aware of the importance of individuality in a design and therefore focus on a distinctive image based on location, climate, and social context of each proposal. We pride ourselves in our ability to balance design with the financial and maintenance requirements of the client.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our dedicated and experienced team with expertise in landscape, architecture and construction management, collaborate to develop innovative, practical and sustainable design solutions.
20 landscape architects, architects, landscape technicians and support staff drawn from regions all over Thailand—North, Northeast, Central and South—collaborate to develop the best design solutions for projects ranging from home gardens to large scale master planning with solid cultural and planting knowledge from all over the country.

KEY STAFF

Mr. Weerapan Paisarnnan

Managing Director

Weerapan began his studies at Chiangmai College of Agriculture, Thailand, where in 1970 he received his diploma in agriculture. He then moved to the U.S.A. to further his education. He received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1973 from Texas A&I University and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1980 from Louisiana State University. His extensive experience both in the U.S.A. and Thailand includes a wide range of international and regional projects. Along with the position of Managing Director of P.L. Design, Weerapan has been a guest lecturer for the landscape architecture departments of Chulalongkorn, Kasetsart and Thammasart Universities in Bangkok and Maejo University in Chiangmai since 1982. He was president of the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA) from 1995 to1997 and was elected a committee member of the Council of Thai Architects from 2003-2006. In 2002 he was conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Landscape Architecture from Maejo University, Thailand.

Mr. Manoch Sriwanichpoom

Design Director
Part of the original team since the company’s establishment, Manoch’s extensive design and construction experience guides many of the design solutions created at P.L. Design and is well known within Thailand’s landscape community. He is a sometime special guest lecturer at Bangkok’s Kasetsart and Chulalongkorn Universities’ Landscape Architecture Departments.

MS. Natalie Schneider

Associate & Project Director
Senior Landscape Architect
Natalie has been with P.L. Design for over 25 years. She studied landscape architecture at the University of Melbourne, Australia and brings international experience to the team. Natalie overseas international projects undertaken by P.L. Design.

MS. CHANIPAT CHAVANANONT

Associate & Project Director
Senior Landscape Architect
Chanipat (Oey) has been with P.L. Design since 1996 that she interned whilst studying at Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn University. Her extensive travels across the world have brought back global design inspiration to the team. She is a special lecturer at Bangkok University and Kasetsart University’s Landscape Architecture Department and is currently General Secretary of the Thai Association of Landscape Architects (TALA).

Ms. PrapaPORN THARASAITHONG

Senior Landscape Architect
With an undergraduate degree in Architecture and Masters in Landscape Architecture from Silpakorn and Chulalongkorn Universities respectively, Prapaporn (Golf) has a strong design sense and is one of our key creators. With over 15 years’ experience as a valued member of P.L. Design’s staff she is fluent in all aspects of the creative process from design to finished construction.

Ms. Cherdchanok Treevanchai

Landscape Architect
A graduate of the Landscape Architecture programme at Thammasart University, Cherdchanok (Twong) joined P.L. Design’s team in 2017. Her interest in photography of the built environment and urban design trends has brought a fresh design perspective to the company.

MS. Chutimon Yisunyam

Architect
A degree in Architecture gives Chutimon (Oh) her strong vision for 3-dimensional space. Her exceptional modelling and graphic skills quickly visualise stunning design representations. Since joining in 2013 with both these skills and a dedicated work ethic, Oh has become a much valued member of P.L. Design.
