LANDSCAPE DESIGN CONCEPT
With renovation taking place over a number of phases, the Humayun Bridge and pond was the first to be remodeled. Landscaping continues the ‘Contemporary Mughal’ concept for architecture, extracting spatial layouts and design elements from traditional styles, but in simplified form. The landscape is developed as a gallery for Mughal art with traditional style decorative elements such as pots and pavilions placed in the gardens.
