Renovation of this seaside hotel was done after rebranding to the esteemed Outrigger chain and included new swimming pools and a water slide to introduce the Edgewater family beach club concept to the property. While the ‘Tropical Colonial’ hotel atmosphere was embraced for landscaping around the hotel buildings on the north side of beach road, a playful approach reflecting the Outrigger brand with bamboo shade structures, waterspouts, coconuts, and white sand was used for the beach club.
